I have a Fox system that uses Word as an OLE object. I only open Word when I know that the user will need a specific document. But once it is open, I set a flag so that the system can identify that the server is available for use.

On occassion, but only at the end of the businss day, the user will get the following error

#1426 - OLE error code 0x800706ba: The RPC server is unavailable.

I have searched repeatedly in the code, but the only reference to releasing Word is when the user exits the system.

While I have found the error number in my Fox documentation, it is not clear to me.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
