As Al mentioned, you have to pass SQL Server the syntax it likes in order to keep the ODBC driver from yelling at you ... and SQL Server doesn't like "TTOC". Unfortunately, I know of no native SQL Server function to convert "DateTime" data to just the "date" portion (although you might look at DATEPART() to see if it returns something you can use) . You may be forced to convert the data after you have filled your view cursor.
