Ok, I'll play devils advocate. I think form inheritance is highly overrated. The way I use forms in VFP, there's no way that a form will be subclassed so I see very little value in using a class over a VCX - that's purely semantic at that point.
I also don't use data sessions - everything is driven through objects that control the data...
In that respect a form behaves no different than a VCX - in fact it is a form based VCX that has a few properties tagged on.
Then again - it's one of those things that hardly are worth arguing about. I can build a UI in VFP, VB or on a Web form and the logic is all coming from the same place regardless of UI host so to me it doesn't matter - no argument.
