I assume you're talking about Ken Levy's SUPERCLASS utility. If you have it loaded, when you open a method window a small toolbar appears. If you click on the leftmost button, superclass code appears. If Superclass can find only one level of parent class, you get that immediately. If it can find more than one level, you get the levels indented in a miniature "menu", from which you can pick the one you want.
It's been a while since I looked into it, but you could check you have the latest version from
www.classx.comI don't know what would happen if you didn't have
source for parent classes. However, my very limited understanding is that SBT comes with full source.
