Dear Mark and All Others who tried to help,

finally, here is the solution:

- as I wrote earlier, I couldnot decide wheter the upgrading of Visual Studio SP4 or the new hungarian IE5.1 was the reason. I reinstalled the whole Visual Studio and MSDN, and HHUpdate without success.
- I didnot noticed, that I wasnot able to instantiate some com object. Like createobject("excel.application"). I thought, that this is a specific MS Office problem, but wasnot. This lead me to the solution. The error message at creating excel object stated, that I have no right to instantiate the object.
- Oop, I remembered, that VS SP4 reqired me, to intall a new version of DCOM.
- I started DCOMCNFG.EXE and checked the rights, who can instantiate the objects. EXCEL and FOXHHELP use default profile. I saw, that only SYSTEM user has right, by default to start COM objects. I added manually EVERYONE. And...
- All problems disappeared!
- Do not ask me, what changed the default COM instantiating rights, but finally I have found the reason.

Cheers...
