Thanks for the confirmation about what's supposed to happen to the registry after uninstall does it's thing. I noticed that lots of stuff seems to stay in the registry. Don't care really, as long as it doesn't hose what I'm trying to do.

I hadn't thought of addressing VisualFoxpro.Runtime.6 as a separate issue but now that you mention it, why not? It's the part that I'm having the most trouble with and after screwing with it all week, I think I've managed to fix it, although I'm not sure exactly WHAT I did to make it behave.
