I went to our last high school reunion a few years ago, and our class rented the "Mystic Whaler" for a three-hour cruise out on the Sound. The "Mystic Whaler" is one of several authentic whaling ship docked in Mystic. It was a pretty neat experience. Parts of Mystic still have that "quaint" New England feel to them.

I assume you mean the Charles W. Morgan, which is on display at Mystic; I don't know if it's still available for charter trips.
