I don't think this is the case - I tried nesting scans :
select 1
scan
select 2
scan
? field2
endscan
? field1
endscan
and got the correct results, if what you say is true, then I would have had the first record of the first table & all of the second & nothing more. What I got was each record of the first, separated by the full list of the second table.
