Well, let's try this again remembering the HTML inserts.

Federico, First see if your OCXs need to be re-registered. To register an OCX, type:

REGSVR32 OCXNAME at the RUN prompt. (OCXNAME is the FULL PATH as well as the OCX file name, like C:\windows\system\mscomm32.ocx).

Then try again to set the file in the Tools/Options/etc. area. If that still doesn't work, you may be able to copy the correct key from another computer. The licensing key is in the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT in your Registry, subkey Licenses. You should have one starting 'DB4C0.....' Copy JUST that key to a text file, and then import it into your own computer. RegEdit allows you to

Use RegEdit to look at or copy registry keys. RegEdit allows you to export JUST one key, which you can then import on another computer.

Also, when you get everything working, make an export of your registry and put it on a floppy or tape backup!!!

This way, even if the built-in backup gets trashed you've got a starting point to recover from.
