You're way off-base here, buddy. First, if Marcia felt that there was material in the book, that would be helpful to the questioner and she didn't mention it, she would be doing a disservice to that person. Second, she did mention other resources that were applicable. Third, while she was one of the co-author's, it's not exactly accurate to call it her product. It's the product of the publisher, in this case, Hentzenwerke. What the contractual arrangement is between the authors and Hentzenweke is their business and no one else's.

I can tell you from person experience what would have been unethical. Divulging copyrighted material. Had Marcia quoted from the book, which she didn't, she would have been unethical. Merely mentioning a book, article or other material that one produced that isn't in the public domain isn't unethical. As Ed said, you need to buy a clue here. Further, it seems to me that you need to follow some of your own advise regarding critcism.
