In Outlook 97, there was a known issue regarding the "resolving" of email addresses between contacts which are added programmatically and the address book. In order to work around this, you have to display the outlook form, invoke the "Check Names" option through the Active Inspector and then save the item.

This issue was supposedly resolved in Outlook 98, however, I am testing against Outlook 2000, and cannot get the address book (list) updated when setting the Email1Address of the contact item programmatically. My goal, of course, is to simply update outlook from a VFP system as records are changed/added in the VFP app. Everything works, except, the resolving of the email address against the address book.

Anybody got a clue?
