Nic, the DBFCDX.LIB came with Clipper 5.x, but you'll have to re-link your source code to use it. Do you have the Clipper source code? And is the code 5.x or Clipper 87? If the latter, you can use the SIXDriver CDX drivers sold by SuccessWare.

If you don't want to run the Clipper and VFP apps at the same time, VFP will read the Clipper DBF, and you can re-index with a CDX or IDX index for the VFP program. Then re-index the Clipper NTXs when they are needed. If you ARE running both apps together, you'll have to upgrade the Clipper program.
