Hi Rock:

I return RecordSets (RS) to the client using DCOM on a on my server. VFP COM util will help in coverting the RS back to VFP format (of course you don't have to becuase you can directly access the RS information using VFP). It's all very fast. If possible, I'd also recommend using Stored Procedures (if using something like MS SQL SERVER)on the database server end.
