Hi All!!
I been developing an Internet application for the last few weeks an I had run it into a small problem, I have a form that toggles from edit to read-only mode. Every time that I made some edits and press an image (an image button) calls the window.frmobject.submit() method using JavaScript, the ASP has code that will call a VFP COM that resides on the WEBServer and do all the data chores and sends back confimation about the transaction... that works fine, the problem is that every time that I fire the .submit method the browser popup a window asking " ...repost from data" (that hapens on IE4 on IE 5.5 the window message is even nasty). my first question will be: there is any way to avoid this window or force the submit and render the page with the new data?.
...then sometimes on some machines I had noticed that the updated data doesn't show on the form until a second refresh, that I had to do manually.
Any sugestion?
Thanks
