I'm not quite sure I understand. What you're referring to here is error handling. Whatever code you have in your object's error event or whatever ON ERROR... handler you have should be able to log the error and exit gracefully. I'm not sure of what you're referring to, since in the event of an error with no error handler specified, VFP uses its own dialog.
