HTML doesn't contain binary images; it can contain tags that reference the names of files that contain an image to include in the HTML. You're pretty much out of luck here, since there's no referecable file name when using a General field, and there's no convenient way to extract the binary content of the General field to a unique file name during report generation.

Avoid General fields as much as possible.
