>I am not having much luck getting a star sp312 receipt printer to work correctly. I am using a frx and the most current drivers from star's ftp site. If the receipt has several detail lines it will reprint the header. I can't seem to get the detail section to allow unlimited lines without the header reprinting.

Overall, the results I've had with receipt printers and barcode printers have steered me away from using the native printer facilities in Windows and using a device driver to write direct to the specialty printer port, either using an ActiveX control or a driver written in C++ that completely bypasses the Windows GDI. This gives me finer control of the output and timinng, and doesn't cause any problems when it's necessary to print other things like reports and detailed forms on regular paper - there's no spooling involved, and Windows doesn't try to reset the printer to a known state between jobs. OTOH, it also means that something like VFP's report writer can't be used to create the output. For me, this is not a problem.
