Who cares if the output of some fields is truncated if you're only sending the report to the file to get the page count? You're never going to view the contents anyway. But not getting an accurate page count by using TO SCREEN instead is more of a problem. I wouldn't use it because it's faster if the results can be wrong! What good is that?
