I'm new to my project and apologize if I am asking questions with obvious answers.

My current project is written in Clipper 5.x, uses FiveWin 1.9.1, and links the FoxPro 2.6 for DOS Replaceable Data Drivers. There are actually two driver libraries; DBF/CDX and _DBF/CDX. We use both libraries because we have memo fields and use the multiple tag CDX indicies. We are experiencing SEVERE problems with FPT file corruption, especially on Windows NT; apparently the address for the memo fields in the DBF file is somehow being corrupted and we end up losing memo field information.

I am URGENTLY in need of some advise concering where I might find a more current DBF/CDX driver library that will support memo fields and multiple tag indicies and can be compiled with my Clipper application. Will the Visual Foxpro DBF/CDX driver libraries work with my Clipper application, if so, what version of Visual FoxPro drivers should I use?

Any advise concerning a possible migration to a more current DBF/CDX driver library would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks in advance for taking the time to read and, hopefully, respond to this message. Bob Owen at rwowen1@email.msn.com.
