I used to explore other development systems (Access, Paradox, VB and Delphi). They all seem to point the same direction: go C/S. For me this feels like unsolving a problem that was solved.
I mean of course I will use Select SQL as much as I can. But is it not nice to know that you can revert to a SCAN/ENDSCAN construct, not to have to SQL the unSQLable? Yes this is against the 'rules', but have you encountered a small project client who cares about 'rules'? Who does not have some exception that won't fit into your otherwise nicely normalised database?
So? Unless I find a solution for those guys who want to access their data, I will confused, ... or go C/S against my better judgement.
