Ed,

Thank you for the reply.

I have been playing with this for the last few hours. Mostly reading. I have noticed that if I have a form opened using the second data session and use a command button to open a second form the data sessions name changes to that of the second form. The tables don't close until I close both forms. The data session is still there (which I want it to be) but is named unknown(2). Why would the data session name change? Does it have to do with the forms datasession property and the datasessionid?

Thanks again for the reply.
