A few thoughts about WWC vs AFP. I have access to an AFP account and have used it for testing. The code to produce a page is easy to create and takes little time. When I went to inquire about purchasing the product/license and setting up my own site I e-mailed the person in Orlando, Florida, who gave me the run around plus. He finally told me to e-mail the company in Germany, which I did. Neither party would give me any information – just “Go to such and such URL”. The URL was the company in Orlando, so back to square one. I was later told by some fellow developers that the two parties were at “War” with each other. I do not know if this is true, but neither party gave me a straight answer.

My question is: Do you want to be a captive of one server which may or may not be available when you need it? Is your application mission critical or just a toy? Why not use a solid product like WWC which has established itself and has a great user based forum?

By all means make a business decision but my advice is to think twice.
