It is an interesting premise.
In Georgia there is a township just north of Atlanta that got national publicity when the local town council passed an ordinance requiring all homes to have a gun. I have not checked recently but the last time I did there were not many burgleries in that town.
On the other hand EVERY ONE carrying guns could degenerate into total chaos. Vigilante justice, road rage turning to road kill. Bump someone on the sidewalk and get blown away.
I just do not think that guns will create moral behavior. That comes from a different place, a place that firearms can not reach. We have more guns now than in any other time of history and morals have not improved that much. Anyway, just something to think about.
