The problem is that the toolbar remains active and a person can select the "exit" button. If they do that then I get a program error "Class definition not found" and it goes down hill from there. I guess what I need to know is how do I turn off the toolbar and where in the findform should that code go?

Normally you just remove the reference to the toolbar from the form (there is the .cToolbar property on the form, just clear it.)
