>Does anyone have any info regarding the printing of these types of fonts? The FPW26 application that uses them displays them properly when a report or label is previewed. The OS recognizes them as well using the likes of wordpad and others. However, none of these apps print the bar code or upc. I am printing to an HP LaserJet 4 and all of this stuff is running on Windows NT 4.0 Terminal Server SP6. All other platforms function properly when it comes to printing to the same printer.

Need more info.

What font are you using? TrueType or specific to a printer?

When you say "Shows up" in wordpad, do you mean you can actually see the barcode? Say (in wordpad) you type 1234567890 and highlight it and change the font to your Barcode font ( EAN128??) , then you can see it on the screen but cannot print it. What actually is printed?

Have you tried another printer?

Do you expect the "Human Readable" code to be printed as well?

I am currently working on a project that involves UPC/EAN barcodes but we are using a high speed Intermec 301 Barcode printer. What we do is send the printer the label format at startup and then pass the data later on. Works well.

Let me know more...

Bernard
