I have found that a user can enter an incorrect value in a ComboBox and move off the object by pressing TAB. Is this a design feature or a Bug plain and simple?

Oh, and can anybody tell me how I can detect TAB (this.keypress seems obvious) and make the combo drop down fire WITHOUT moving to the next object?

this.dropdown doesn't do the trick but I feel that this event is seriously flawed anyway.
