Start your 'popup form with Visible = .F., pass the new Top and Left as parameters to the Form's Init, adjust the Form's Top and Left properties, and then make it visible.

Some one else posted an answer and what i was lloking for was the sysmertic because i had the left and top properties but no caption bar height and this was causing the box to be not near the field.
