The behaviour sounds strange to me. I've been doing apps for years using Form as Top Level, and haven't encountered such behaviour yet. And that' the reason why there is no much participation in this thread, and in fact, this is already a re-post, right? Why don't you try creating a new and clean form and let's see what will happen?
