It's not nearly that simple. Whether or not the group footer spills onto another page depends on how many detail lines have printed. IOW, you have to figure out how far down the page you are. And that changes for practically every printer driver. That doesn't even start to take into consideration objects that may have Print When conditions that specify to remove the line if blank.
