Hi,

I've got a jpg file that I insert into a general field using the append general statement.

The jpg file is 2k, but once it's inserted, the table grows by 80K.

My application is saving a customer's signature to the database. Over time the 80k per signature is really going to add up.

Is there a more efficient way of doing this?
