Thanks! I'll have to dig out a map.

Mt. Kosciusko at 222 meters would then be about 1.3 miles up if I've done the math correctly. We get some good snow here (though the last couple of years has not been too high) and that's about the height of my home here on the Wasatch front. In 1992 when we moved in I think at one point we had 4-5 feet in the front yard,

The trees were small offshoots of some Swedish Aspens and, like the aspen family, send out suckers for a distance and then spring up. I had them down in 30 minutes but had to beat a retreat from the sun. They go to the trash bin tomorrow. <g>
