I'm evaluating different ways to send data to a serial port using VFP 6.0. There seem to be three ways:

1. Using FoxTools to access comm functions in USER.EXE.
2. Using CopyFile() API in KERNEL32.DLL.
3. Using MSCOMM32.OCX.

I've found examples of the first two techniques on the forum, but no examples for MSCOMM32.OCX. Does anyone have examples that they could share or relevant experience to help determine the best way to tackle this?
