I have found where it goes wrong. Has nothing to do with datasessions. I you examine the previous code that I sent, everything works fine until I setfocus to my grid in the Activate event of page1. At this point, the record pointer moves to EOF(). I have thisform.refresh in the AfterRowCol change event of the grid. I suspect that since I issue the APPEND BLANK and throw to the other page, that this event isn't allowed to finish processing. Therefore, I see the event tick off when I setfocus back to the grid. It is trying to move the pointer to a record that no longer exists because I aborted the APPEND. I'll give this further thought and would welcome any suggestions. Thanks for all the help.
