This is what I am asking. If the combo displays the data for that column, shouldn't I be able to get the value that exists in the combo the second the row becomes active but before the value changes? I've tried variablename=This.value in the downclick, in the click, and in interactivechange prior to my code that changes the value, but nothing seems to work...the debugger still shows that variable as .F.
BTW, no, I don't know how to write my own classes yet. It takes a while to learn all the aspects of a Programming GUI, especially when you don't have any prior experience. Ya gotta start somewhere.
I know you didn't mean it this way, but the advice you gave in the previous message is like a slap in the face. I love it. Makes me want to learn more.
