I meant using the security socket stuff (I have to plead ignorance here as the internet app is not my "project" I'm maintaining the data it gives/gets). Usually the biggest fear is that the internet "is not secure". I think this is a hokey excuse because major banks are using it for finacial transactions, and after all, what's more important than money, right (g)....

No, figured we'd run out of room in about a year, thus we chose SQL server.
