Thanks for the reply Cathi. Sorry for delay in answer, was out of office a few days.

I had used .ini files in other vfp6 apps and did not consider the registry. This app will be in different clients offices with multi workstations and did not want to face the process of updating multi versions of the .exe. Your idea has merit and I will look a little closer at your approach.
