Ummmm, please ignore the other reply to this message. It seems I've come upon a senior moment. The whole problem was that I was not taking the "thisform.cFindUniqueID" and moving it to the form property that controls my method for getting the selected information. I'm sorry for having taken up your time. I do appreciate all the help I receive here. Because without your help and the help of the others I wouldn't have the added knowledge needed to resolve my problems.
