Has someone found out how to kick someone out of a program (EXE, APPP)?

This is a problem I have been wondering about for a long time. It never really bothered me until I had to run upstairs when I made a change to the program to tell everyone to log out of the program and then run back downstairs to compile and try it. I'm getting too old for this.
