Not sure I did the same search you did but Salt Lake City - for the same dates is under $200 for the luxury hotels - downtown.

We have LOTS of flights (a elta main hub) and SLC airport is an international so there's flights directly from overseas. That time of year things are starting to cool down and crisp up - but not too much.
