Steve,

I appreciate the feedback though I don't like the news <g>. I can not see my neighbors (which is good - I've seen this phenomena before) - but it sounds like whatever they're doing to "fix" that is screwing up my mapping capabilities huh?

Ken

>I had a customer with cable modems (in more than one office) that had this problem. We were able to map network drives accross the cable modem (even through a NAT shared IP address), until AT&T showed up one day and said they needed to put in new cable modems.

>We have not been able to map network drives since...when I talked to tech support at AT&T they told me what I was trying to do was not supported by them. I could not get an absolute yes or no as to whether the new modem was causing the problem, or the new routers that we were being routed through.
>
>I suspect the modem cause I've seen a cable modem/T1 line scenario where I could not map drives, but if I ran a CAT5 cable back to the T1 router I could map drives...without making changes in the workstation's network settings.

>Bummer, huh? :~|
