Sorry, all I mean is the column marked "From" when viewing the outbox [the sender of the email]. If I create an email from FoxPro and then open Outlook and view the contents of the outbox, this column isn't populated. However, once the mail is actually sent it looks ok - SenderName is properly populated.
BTW, I've downloaded a help file from :
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q260/4/10.ASPwhich might help me. The examples to create tasks etc. in this help file don't use NameSpace [just like the examples in the MS KB].
However, you've convinced me that your way is the way to go [because it works like a champ]. ;-)
The only confusion I have now is why MSFT's examples aren't coded like our working code. The examples are in VB, but I wouldn't have thought that that would make a difference.
