I have created an updatable view.

Browsing the view and the original table I can see any changes I make to the view being impacted on the original table.

Except for one long character field called sched.desc
This field is 115 characters long and it generates a syntax error whenever I change its value in the view.

The the source table was originally created in FPW 2.6 but is now part of a DBC and has the correct code page as far as I can tell.

Is this a known bug?
What can I do?
