Obviously, this is too big a topic to discuss here, but essentially you would create a word.application object then call the various methods and set the appropriate properties of this object to create your report as a word document.

Probably the best source of reference for developing this way is the relatively new book Microsoft Office Automation with Visual FoxProBy Tamar E. Granor & Della Maritin. Also you could take a look in the MSDN help files.
