The Combo now displays the description as it should!!
The only problem now is that when I checked the view and the Order_Items table, the ItemId field was not changed.
The ControlSource of Column3 is v_Order_Items.ItemId
The Combo.Value matches the RecordId of the inventory, which is correct, but the ItemId in the View is not changed
So when the Combo is changed, should it not update ItemId value in the view automagically?
This is my first attempt at using a view, and I think it set up rigth (based on what Nick showed me), but I could be wrong. Do I have to do something to get the data to update?
