Does anybody know how I can get my VFP EXEs to start faster? Here is my problem. When I double-click on the application icon on my desktop it almost looks like nothing is happening. My mouse pointer stays an arrow (not an hourglass like I would expect) and there is hardly any disk activity until the app comes up a few seconds later. This causes many users to click on the icon again and then get two instances of the application running at once.

Is there anyway I can get a splash screen or get the cursor to turn to an hourglass almost instantly like it does when I run VFP?

The computers are mostly 400mhz, 64mb ram and the program is being ran from a local drive. I am using VFP 6 SP 4. This ia also a VERY small app (54k) conisting of one main form and SCREEN=OFF in config.fpw file.
