Hello all,

I added a foreign key with 'ALTER TABLE', but it is not enforceing referential integrity for me. I'm attempting to 'Edit Referential Integrity' of the database that is opened in the Database Designer.

When I attempt to do this, I get 'the Referential Integrity builder cannot run until your database is first cleaned up...'

However, the 'Clean Up Database' option is greyed out on the menu. I have opened the database exclusive (OPEN DATABASE DATA/CAT1 EXCLUSIVE).

I tried to VALIDATE DATABASE in command window, and got:

Need EXCLUSIVE writeable access to rebuild structural index.
Database container is valid.

Adding VALIDATE to the end of the OPEN DATABASE command gives me no visual feedback.
