>>Has anyone had experience with a web browser control to use in VFP that will not require the user to install IE? We are running into users who have standardized on Netscape and are not authorized to install IE on their machines. Thus, our VFP app dies with an OLE error because it can't find the browser control.

>The Web Browser control uses the InternetExplorer.Application object, which means that IE version 4 or later must be installed - you have no choice in the matter. It does not have to be the default browser, but it must be present and configured correctly. You can fire off HTML through the default browser using ShellExecute(), but this does not give you any control over it once it launches up.

Thanks for responding. Doesn't sound too hopeful for my Netscape users! I found Webster Pro from Home Page Software that may do what I'm looking for. Any experience with it?
