Nofilter is not sufficient by itself.
There is a simplier way 'select ... into table ...'. Tables are always RW and the only differences are their extension, place created, not automatically erased. It's wrong that it cursors wouldn't be created on disk if their size is small. Even the smallest possible cursor is created on disk.
PS: I honestly use cursor often too.
