You might check to see if you can specify a rightmargin within the RTF text itself.
I use the RTF control for two purposes:
1. For WYSIWYG RTF display/edit
2. For long-line/fixed font display with a horizontal scrollbar (something not supported by the standard editbox or listbox).
... but I never mix the two.
