I'm sorry, I didn't mean to push him over the edge. I'm really not the sort of person that runs people off; the whole thing just seemed a little out of control...

Anyway, after this conversation folks will think harder about who they are replying to. I can see how hundreds of replies could pile into your box and become a problem.
